Based on the data, the use of energy-efficient equipment has been implemented at 100% for standing ACs, ceiling ACs, VRV ACs, all-in-one PCs, shared printers, LED smart TVs, freezers, automatic sensor faucets, and laptops. However, the usage of energy-efficient lighting has only reached 35.55% (2,550 out of 7,172 lights), and the split AC systems are at 60.93%.
The transition from conventional lighting to LED (Light Emitting Diode) and the upgrade of conventional split AC systems will continue to be implemented during routine maintenance (for damaged or non-functional equipment) as well as through development and investment in new equipment.
Here is supporting documentation evidence of the use of energy-efficient equipment at FKUI:
The use of energy-efficient lighting in both indoor and outdoor areas is as follows:

Contoh Lampu LED di lingkungan FKUI:
Usage of Air Conditioning (AC)
The air conditioning system throughout the Faculty of Medicine at UI uses energy-efficient types such as inverter split ACs, VRV (Variable Refrigerant Volume) systems, standing ACs, ceiling ACs, and chillers. In 2023, FKUI replaced damaged conventional AC units with inverter models in the Parasitology lecture hall, the Dean's office, and the Dean's secretary's office.
Use of PC Desktop (All in One)
The use of all-in-one computers (without a separate CPU) is implemented to save electricity compared to conventional computers.
Laptop/Notebook
Laptops are used more frequently for lectures, seminars, and meetings, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Shared Printer
Printers are used with a sharing system, allowing them to be accessed by two or more computers. This reduces the number of printers needed and helps save electricity.
Smart TV (TV LED)
Smart TVs (LED TVs) are used for lectures, meetings, and as digital information media. All buildings in FKUI are equipped with smart TVs, which are energy-efficient.
Automatic Sensor Faucets
Automatic sensor faucets have been installed in the restrooms of Building H, the Anatomy Building, Parasitology, the Parasitology Dormitory, Microbiology, and Community Medicine.
Refrigerators
Refrigerators or freezers are available in nearly all FKUI buildings, serving to store research samples in laboratories and to keep food and beverages in staff areas.
Provide local education programmes or campaigns on climate change risks, impacts, mitigation, adaptation, impact reduction and early warning.
This indicator focuses on the implementation of local educational programs and campaigns aimed at raising awareness about climate change. These initiatives cover various aspects, including the risks and impacts of climate change, strategies for mitigation and adaptation, and methods for reducing its effects. Additionally, they emphasize the importance of early warning systems to prepare communities for climate-related events. By educating the public, these programs aim to foster a better understanding of climate issues and promote proactive measures to enhance resilience and sustainability at the local level.
