Dokter Kristaninta Bangun, SpBP-RE(K), menamatkan pendidikan dokter umum pada tahun 1997 di Universitas Gadjah Mada, Yogyakarta. Beliau kemudian menyelesaikan pendidikan dokter spesialis Bedah plastik pada tahun 2007 di Universitas Indonesia dan Program Doktor (S3) pada tahun 2020 masih di kampus yang sama, Universitas Indonesia.

Dokter Kristaninta Bangun, SpBP-RE(K), merupakan Dosen Pendidik Klinis pada Program Studi Ilmu Bedah dengan jabatan fungsional saat ini adalah Asisten Ahli.
