Prof. Dr. dr. Ismail Hadisoebroto Dilogo, SpOT(K), menamatkan pendidikan dokter umum pada tahun 1994 di Universitas Indonesia. Beliau kemudian menyelesaikan pendidikan dokter spesialis Bedah Orthopaedi pada tahun 2003 dan Program Doktor (S3) pada tahun 2007 di kampus yang sama, Universitas Indonesia.

Prof. Dr. dr. Ismail Hadisoebroto Dilogo, SpOT(K) adalah dokter spesialis Ortopedi dan Traumatologi FKUI-RSCM pertama dari Indonesia yang meneliti Stem Cell atau Sel Punca. Penelitian tersebut telah dilakukan sejak tahun 2004. Sejak tahun 2010 RSCM sudah berhasil menangani kasus pada tulang atau ortopedi dan kasus lainnya seperti Glukoma, Diabetes, Jantung, luka bakar, dan Stroke dengan menggunakan terapi Stem Cell. Ketekunan Prof. Ismail dalam mengembangkan Stem Cell juga membawanya meraih penghargaan dari BPPT Innovation Award tahun 2018, untuk inovasinya dalam bidang kesehatan yaitu pemanfaatan Stem Cell.
