The Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Indonesia, was officially formed in 1950 from the remnants of STOVIA (School tot Opleiding voor Indische Artsen), making us the oldest medical school in Indonesia and one of the most influential. We are globally recognized and is the #1 ranked university for medicine in Indonesia according to World EduRank 2024. Located in Jakarta, our university is also easily accessible.
