7.2 University measures towards affordable and clean energy

[7.2.1] Energy-efficient renovation and building

FMUI has a policy for ensuring all renovations or new builds are following energy efficiency standards in Green Building Policy, manifested in the development and renovation of spaces at the Faculty of Medicine UI.

[7.2.5] Energy wastage identification

In alignment with the Green Building standards outlined in our construction and renovation policies, systematic and progressive endeavors unfold across various stages, encompassing technical planning, construction execution, utilization, and ultimately, demolition. Prior to these stages, FMUI initiates the process by the identifying Green Building implementation.

7.4 Energy and community

[7.4.1] 100% renewable energy pledge

FMUI promotes a public pledge toward 100% renewable energy beyond the university. Some programs that have been conducted in 2022 include the Green Campaign, 3R waste education, poster installations, and a campaign to reduce carbon emissions.

Community Service Activity conducted by FKUI: Education on 3R Waste Management in Tanjungsari District, Sumedang Regency, on September 19, 2022.

[7.4.4] Policy development for clean energy technology

FKUI has policies that support the implementation of clean energy technology, including: Surat Keputusan Dekan FKUI Nomor: SK-1569/UN2.F1.D/HKP.02.04/2022 tentang Kebijakan Mitigasi dan Adaptasi Perubahan Iklim Global di Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Indonesia
