Providing women’s access schemes is a vital step toward achieving gender equality and empowering women. These initiatives help women overcome barriers, pursue their goals, and contribute positively to their communities. As more women benefit from these programs, the impact extends beyond individuals, fostering a more equitable and inclusive society.

5.6.4 Childcare Facilities for Students

Have accessible childcare facilities for students which allow recent mothers to attend university courses.

FMUI also provides facilities for nursing mothers (Mother’s Room) in IMERI building 5^th floor equipped with chairs, tables, and refrigerators where the mother can pump her breast milk and store it in the room. It is expected that the women who work and are away from their infants remain able to fulfil the child’s nutritional intake.
