Dokter Achmad Fauzi, SpPD-KGEH menamatkan pendidikan dokter di Universitas Indonesia pada tahun 1991. Beliau kemudian melanjutkan pendidikan spesialis ilmu penyakit dalam pada Program Pendidikan Dokter Spesialis Ilmu Penyakit Dalam Universitas Indonesia dan lulus tahun 2003. Selanjutnya, pada tahun 2016 dr. Achmad Fauzi berhasil menyelesaikan pendidikan Subspesialis atau Sp2 dalam bidang Ilmu Penyakit Dalam masih di kampus yang sama, yaitu Universitas Indonesia.

Dokter Achmad Fauzi merupakan Dosen Pendidik Klinis di Program Studi Ilmu Penyakit Dalam FKUI dengan jabatan fungsional saat ini adalah Lektor. Beliau pakar dalam bidang kekhususan gastroenterologi dan tercatat sebagai staf di Divisi Gastroenterologi Departemen Ilmu Penyakit Dalam FKUI-RSCM.
