Association of Academic Health Centers International (AAHCI)

The Association of Academic Health Centers International (AAHCI) is an association established as a branch from the U.S.-based Association of Academic Health Centers (AAHC). AAHCI main purpose is for collaborating among the institutions that provide the academic health centre along with the global vision of developing and applying knowledge to promote health and well-being.

AAHCI has announced Regional Offices around the world for the coordination of its projects based on regional area. The Regional Office provides the facilitation of networking opportunities, data analysis and informations, and also the interchange of best practices in Southeast Asia. The first Regional Office for Southeast Asia was hosted at the National University of Singapore (NUS) from 2014 – 2018. Currently, the Regional Office is hosted by Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Indonesia.

The AAHCI Southeast Asia Regional Office is in charge for organizing regional events and conferences, triggering the discussion on key issues for Southeast Asian Academic Health Centers and Systems, contributing to the development of AAHCI programs, and building collaborations between current and perspective AAHC and AAHCI members.
