Founded back in 1920, Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Indonesia (FMUI) is the longest-running medical school in Indonesia. In 2019, it is listed as the best university in Indonesia and the 59^th in Asia. The Faculty aims to create an infinite experience for all through its affiliated national referral hospitals which are integrated into the Academic Health System.

In cooperation with the Academic Health System and the Indonesia Medical Education and Research Institute, FMUI is standing at the frontier of clinical and biomedical research in Indonesia. The Faculty also offers various programs, such as an undergraduate medical doctor (M.D.) program, 31 medical specialty training programs, 6 subspecialty training programs, 4 Master’s level programs, and 3 Doctoral level programs that cover a vast and diverse course from molecular medicine and genetics, tropical infection, to global health.
