What does the student say about the program?
We spent 4 weeks at the Kiara Hospital. We have had a varied schedule made for us by the Ophthalmology Department, including clinics (glaucoma, corneal, refraction, retina and infection/immunology), teaching session, session with the local students, presentations that we put together ourselves, emergency reports plus clinics, and operating theatre.
I have really enjoyed my time here at FKUI, everyone has been very friendly and helpful, and we have seen many cases that we would not see at home. It has been a very beneficial and eye-opening experience.

I have had a great experience in my time in Indonesia! A lot of things differ from my home country which gave me many opportunities to learn about medicine and cultural issues. Thank you for your hospitality and help during these 9 weeks!
