FKUI Welcomed Delegates From Leiden University

The Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Indonesia welcomed a delegation from the Leiden University, Netherland, on Wednesday (26/2). The meeting was held at Dean Meeting Room 2nd Floor FMUI Building. The Netherland delegation was represented by Prof. Carel Stolker (Rector and President of Leiden University), Prof. Maria Yazdanbakhsh (Head of Departementf Parasitology and Leiden Parasite Immunology Group, LUMC), Prof. Lex Peters (Professor of Gynaecology), and Dr. Eric Beerkens (Senior Advisor for International Affairs, Leiden University).

The delegation was welcomed by Vice Dean for Education, Research, and Student Affairs, Prof. dr. Pratiwi P. Sudarmono, SpMK(K); Secretary to the Faculty, Prof. dr. Saleha Sungkar, DAP&E; Manager of Research and Social Services, Dr. dr. Budi Wiweko, SpOG(K); and representation from Department of Parasitology FMUI, Dr. Dra. Taniawati Supali. During the meeting, both delegation, discussed about the possibility of cooperation between the two universities in education field.

Through these meetings, both universities are expected to realized broader educational cooperation between the Faculty of Medicine Universitas Indonesia with leading universities in the Netherlands. The expansion of educational cooperation is certainly going to be good for the world of medical education in the faculty of medicine and medical education in Indonesia. (Mel/Dan/Die)
