Master in Occupational Medicine

Master in Occupational Medicine Program is an accredited education program at Master level. This program was established by the Faculty of Medicine Universitas Indonesia (FKUI) in 1978 and has been running since. This program is designed to meet the demand of physicians who are competent in the field of occupational medicine. Furthermore, this program is the only Master Program in occupational medicine available in Southeast Asia.

In the curriculum of Master in Occupational Medicine Program, the length of study was designed for 4 semesters (2 years) with 44 credit points per semester. At the end of the study, students will be awarded “Master in Occupational Medicine” degree. This program offers three specialization areas: occupational medicine, hyperbaric and undersea medicine, and aviation medicine.

With the long experience in implementing and running this program, along with close partnership with various renowned industries, graduates from this Master Program are expected to work as physicians in a company, consultants in occupational medicine field, researchers in the area of workplace health and safety, instructors for workplace health and safety in a learning and education institution, and workers in the government institution which deals with workplace health and safety. Graduates from this Master in Occupational Medicine Program have also been proven to contribute to and advance the fields of undersea medicine and aviation medicine.
