Dante Saksono Harbuwono – An alumnus of the Faculty of Medicine of Universitas Indonesia 1997

On Wednesday, December 23, 2020, dr. Dante Saksono Harbuwono, SpPD, Ph.D. was officially appointed as the deputy minister of health of the Republic of Indonesia by President Joko Widodo. Dr. Dante was born in Temanggung on March 23, 1973. After finishing his general practitioner education at the Faculty of Medicine of Universitas Indonesia in 1997, he took a specialization in internal medicine and graduated from the Faculty of Medicine in 2004. He then received his Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree from the University of Yamanashi, Japan in 2019.
Dr. Dante Saksono Harbuwono, SpPD, Ph.D. is a teaching staff at the Internal Medicine Department of the Faculty of Medicine of Universitas Indonesia. He has served as the head of Metabolic/Endocrine Division of the Internal Medicine Department of the faculty. He is active in professional medical organizations like the Indonesian Association of Internal Medicine Specialists and the Indonesian Association of Endocrinologists.
